We thank you for stopping by our website. CaiE Foods was founded by CaiE George. CaiE was born and raised in Guangzhou (Canton), PRC and has great love and understanding of Chinese food and dim sum products.
Family recipes made from scratch inspired her to found CaiE Foods. Noting that the only dim sum she could buy in the United States was frozen, CaiE decided to investigate how to produce fresh (unfrozen) products with a stable shelf-life. Her research began and she discovered that pasta was originally sold as dry noodles but now could be purchased fully prepared, unfrozen, (fresh) and had a stable shelf-life. Noting the small difference between pasta products and dim sum products, both have an outside layer that is filled with a variety of fillings, CaiE became intrigued with the "fresh"pasta production process which she could apply to dim sum products also. Her passion to combine tradition with modern innovation was the founding principle for her new company.
In order to supply her customers with her new idea to sell shelf stable, unfrozen dim sum products, CaiE built a 27,000 square foot facility which is located in Sparks, Nevada that combines proven methods and innovative solutions to maximize the shelf life of fresh (unfrozen) dim sum.
